ZERO TO THREE is a national nonprofit organization that provides parents, professionals and policymakers the knowledge and the know-how to nurture early development.

The National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) is a nonprofit organization that provides and supports programs, workshops, and resources for African American children, their parents and communities in: early health and education; child welfare; parenting; health and elementary and secondary education.

  1. You are receiving information from two wonderful sites. The NBCDI is very interesting to me. It will be a good source to use to incorporate cultural diversity within your educational atmosphere year round, rather than just for one month. I am looking for more sites that pertain to multiple cultures to do the same.

  2. The Zero to Three organization have very informative conferences. I had an opportunity to go to one years ago in California. They had many sessions with pediatricians and we were able to ask questions relevant to child care and medical questions. I use the resources on the website when parents are looking for information about child development. My staff and I are always looking at articles posted to this site.
